Being in the mountains is one of my great joys in life. I had the good luck in August of 2013 to spend a month in the Sierra with a Berkeley friend. We hiked from King’s Canyon to Sonora Pass, and then, in the smoke of the Rim Fire, I continued on to Ebbetts Pass before deciding that deep-yellow air and mid-day darkness was not on my list of mountaineering challenges to meet.
I noted the location of our campsites and mapped them. So, just for fun, here’s the map.
UPDATE: It seems, unfortunately, that BatchGeo no longer offers the option to choose the "Terrain" style map.
